FUTURA SEOUL has been exploring endless narratives of the night through our "Night on Earth" project. Beginning with insightful talks by Hans Ulrich, who was named the most influential curator in the world by ArtReview in 2009, media artist Refik Anadol, and KAIST Professor Yiyun Kang, we have expanded artistic discourse through diverse programs including musician Jehwi's 'Echoes', traditional vocalist Lee Hee Moon's 'Hallucination' releases, Nam June Paik documentary screenings, and Ceiling Service.
On December 27, we present our final program of 2024, "Echoes of the Future." The event features a dialogue between Mind Miner Song Gil-young, KAIST Professor Daeshik Kim, an authority in neuroscience and artificial intelligence, and Kim Min-hee, TopClass Magazine's Editor-in-Chief with 20 years of media expertise. The program includes an 'UN/readable Sound' performance by Gazaebal, a first-generation electronica pioneer and WeSA Director; an opening performance by Grammy-nominated producer and improviser An Gwang Hyeon, cellist Chanyoung Park, and 8BallTown saxophonist Jason Lee. Additionally, Art Project BORA presents 'Somoo' alongside National Dance Company principal dancer Song Ji-young's 'ๆฅ้ถฏ่ Chun-aengmu'.
We invite you to join this carefully curated event featuring distinguished experts and artists across various fields.
